BACHELOR OF APPLIED PERFORMING ARTS  (BAppA)

From 2010 in addition to the existing Diploma in Stage and Screen Arts and Diploma in Applied Stage and Screen Arts (Advanced), The New Zealand College of Performing Arts in association with Whitireia Community Polytechnic will offer students the opportunity to study toward a Bachelor of Applied Performing Arts (BAppA).

This means that a student will have the option of exiting with a Diploma after two years, or continuing with a third year of study toward an Advanced Diploma or a Degree 

 It will be possible to transfer to the degree programme from the diploma programme or the reverse. This flexibility of study will continue to ensure accessibility to a broad range of students.

From 2011 graduates of the College will be given the opportunity to upgrade their Diploma or Advanced Diploma to the Degree. Applications will be considered on an individual basis.
